The STOPPING THE VIOLENCE OUTREACH PROGRAM helps women who are in or who are leaving an abusive relationship to live in safety.
The Stopping the Violence Outreach Coordinator supports your right to make choices based on your own understanding of your options, experiences, needs, and goals, with respect for your individual situation.
We offer:
- Connection to community services and resources in order to widen your safety net
- Help creating and following through on the action steps needed in your safety plan
- Transportation and accompaniment to medical, legal, and other service agencies
- Support to women who are staying in Grace House or who need further supports after leaving Grace House
The Stopping the Violence Outreach Coordinator organizes and runs community anti-violence events, such as The Purple Lights Campaign, Annual Shoe Memorial, and the 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
The Coordinator also helps spread the word about our services by distributing Grace House posters and program brochures around the community.
